Hanford Integrated Tank Disposition Contract (ITDC)

The Department of Energy is pleased to announce the upcoming Hanford Integrated Tank Disposition Contract (ITDC) Request for Proposal and competition to be one of the Department’s premier contractors leading the nation’s largest and most complex radioactive waste cleanup. The ITDC effort is anticipated to include scope involving both Tank Closure as well as Waste Treatment Plant (WTP) operations.

News and Announcements

12/14/2021 Amendment 0004 has been posted to the Final RFP Tab, which removes clause I.106, FAR 52.223-99 Ensuring Adequate COVID-19 Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors (Oct 2021) (DEVIATION).
12/3/2021 Questions and Answers in response to Posting #1 have been posted to the Questions and Answers tab as Posting #2. Posting #2 includes revisions to Question and Answer #7 and #30. Amendment 0003 has been posted to the Final RFP tab which includes a change to Standard Form 33, Solicitation, Offer and Award, Section A, Block #9, changing the proposal due date from 12/20/2021 to 01/06/2022.
11/18/2021 Questions and Answers have been posted to the Questions and Answers tab as Posting #1 – Questions 1-44. This is the first and final set of responses to be posted in response to industry questions. Amendment 0002 has been posted to the Final RFP tab which includes changes to Final RFP Sections C, H, L, M, Attachments L-6(d), and Attachment L-9.

Amendment 0001 has been posted to the Final RFP tab which includes Attachment L-9, Task Order 1 – Contract Transition Request for Task Proposal (RTP).

Additionally, the Documents Library has been updated with an additional document in Section 07, A Day in the Life of DFLAW, and an updated document in Section 04, Feed Delivery Plan Rev 06.

10/21/2021 The Hanford ITDC Final Request for Proposal (RFP) has been posted to the Final RFP tab. Additionally, the Documents Library has been updated with revisions to Section 7.
9/30/2021 A Special Notice was posted on beta.sam.gov that the U.S. Department of Energy is providing updated procurement schedule information regarding near-term Final RFPs. 9/7/2021 The Documents Library has been updated with revisions to Section 04 and additional documents published to Sections 02, 04, 05, 08, and 09. No additional changes have been made to Sections 01, 03, or 07.

4/6/2021 The revised Draft RFP Section H with Contractor Human Resource Management (CHRM) clauses has been posted; no additional changes have been made to Section H at this time.

The Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) has been posted to the Draft RFP tab for review. Sections B, C, H, L and M are included in this posting. Also, the Pre-Solicitation Conference, Site Tour & Industry One-on-One Sessions for the ITDC Procurement are scheduled for March 30- April 1, 2021.
