January 21, 2009
Amendment 004 to the Request for Proposals was issued to incorporate minor changes to Sections C, H J, L and M of the Request for Proposals. In addition, the due date for receipt of proposals was extended to February 18, 2009.

January 13, 2009
DOE issued a notice to inform prospective Offerors that the due date for receipt of proposals would be extended from January 21, 2009, by at least two weeks to allow prospective offerors to make changes to their proposals as a result of Amendment 003.

Amendment 003 to the Request for Proposals was issued to make corrections to the Request for Proposals and to provide clarifications.

December 12, 2008
Amendment 002 to the Request for Proposals was issued to extend the due date for receipt of proposals from December 15, 2008, to January 21, 2009.

DOE informed prospective Offerors that the due date for receipt of proposals would be extended from December 15, 2008, to the middle of January. 

November 14, 2008
Amendment 001 to the Request for Proposals was issued to make relatively minor revisions to the Request for Proposals.

October 21, 2008
DOE conducted a second site tour for interested parties at the Savannah River Site. This site tour was at the Unclassified Controlled Information (UCI) level and was intended to provide interested parties with more detailed information regarding the site’s security operations than the site tour given on July 7, 2008.

September 26, 2008
DOE issued the final Request for Proposals. The due date for receipt of proposals is 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Monday, December 15, 2008. DOE will conduct a site tour at the Savannah River Site on October 21, 2008. See the Pre-Proposal Site Tour section to request attendance on the site tour.

DOE issued a Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) synopsis informing interested parties that the anticipated release of the final Request for Proposals for the provision of protective force security services for the Savannah River Site would be about 15 to 30 days after the issuance of the FedBizOps synopsis.

All interested parties were instructed to submit their comments pertaining to the draft Request for Proposals by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

July 8-9, 2008
DOE conducted one-on-one sessions with interested parties pertaining to the draft Request for Proposals at the North Augusta Community Center in Augusta, Georgia.
