The Department of Energy is currently the largest civilian Federal contracting agency. In order to provide more timely and detailed information to businesses, the public, Congress, and DOE management on DOE's prime and subcontract contracting opportunities, DOE recently expanded its web-based "Department of Energy Acquisition Forecast". The Forecast, formerly called the "Department of Energy Forecast of Prime and Subcontracting Opportunities" was recently expanded to include additional information for on-going prime contracting actions that are valued in excess of $100,000. The Forecast website is accessible via http://hqlnc.doe.gov/Forecast.
