Contract Cost and Price staff support the overall mission and strategic plans of the Office of Contracting and client sites by performing activities and services such as:
- Evaluate cost/price proposals, contract changes, Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REAs).
- Prepare reports which consolidate the results of technical evaluations, DCAA audits, and other analysis of proposals, REAs and other cost-related submissions from contractors.
- Assist contracting officer in establishing pre-negotiation pricing positions.
- Perform analysis regarding potential payment of provisional incentive fee and performance based incentive payments.
- Monitor contractor policies, procedures and practices for managing and controlling contract costs.
