EMCBC selects new Assistant Director for the Office of Civil Rights and Diversity

Ms. Regina Neal-Mujahid was selected as the Assistant Director, Office of Civil Rights and Diversity on September 21, 2009. As the Assistant Director she is responsible for managing all aspects of equal employment opportunity (EEO) and diversity at the EMCBC and Customer Sites. She brings significant EEO/diversity experience to her role and is committed to promoting inclusiveness and providing the EMCBC with a roadmap for sustaining and effective and optimum EEO/diversity program.

Prior to joining the EMCBC in 2006, Ms. Neal served as a Program Specialist in the DOE Headquarters Office of Civil Rights and Diversity performing in key functional areas of EEO, diversity and the Employee Concerns Program (ECP). During her tenure there, she delivered the Department of Energy’s Forums at national training conferences on civil rights law, policies, and regulations. Ms. Neal was agency lead for EEO complaints tracking, reporting and certification.

Ms. Neal has been employed at the Department of Energy for twenty years, she is a graduate of Saint Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, VA.
