Partnership Selects 2007 Service to America Medalists
September 19, 2007

On September 19, the Partnership for Public Service presented nine Service to America Medals to outstanding civil servants for their high-impact contributions critical to the safety, health and well-being of Americans — at a Washington, D.C. gala held in their honor.
The Service to America Medals have earned a reputation as one of the most prestigious awards dedicated to celebrating America’s civil servants. Frazer Lockhart was the 2007 Science and Environment Medal Recipient. This medal recognizes a federal employee for a significant contribution to the nation in activities related to science and environment (including biomedicine, economics, energy, information technology, meteorology, resource conservation, and space). Frazer and members of the Rocky Flats closure team were nominated by Colorado Senator Wayne Allard and U.S. Representative Mark Udall, Colorado 2nd District.
