EMCBC engages in Penny Wars.Penny War Begins: Penny War containers are located in department common areas, EMCBC employees are encouraged to toss extra pennies into the jar. The goal of Penny War is to have the most money in your container at the conclusion of the CFC Campaign. However, the war part works like this; pennies are worth $.01, but any other coin or dollar donated is subtracted from the department's total. The "shot across the bow" begins when a $5 bill gets dropped into an opposing department's container, meaning 500 pennies must be produced, just to break even. The winning department will enjoy a pizza and penny rolling party. The War is on!
